ADVANCED AORTA SURGERY

This course is addressed to physicians aiming at advancing their knowledge and skills in complex open surgery of the aortic root, arch and thoracoabdominal aorta.

Through individual lectures, clinical and surgical exposure the alumni will gain expertise in advanced aspects of surgery and perioperative care of patients

undergoing complex aorta surgery. It is expected that participants fully engage with our aorta team and gain exposure to state of the art multidisciplinary

management for these complex patients.

At the end of this program the surgeons should be able to offer independently a wide range of open aorto-vascular procedures.
